＜フィリピンからジジ・ラブラドーレスさん緊急来日！＞
今、フィリピンで起こっていること
〜ODAと政治的殺害そしてフェアトレード〜
フィリピンへは、日本から毎年多額の援助資金が投入され、民間資本も多数進出し、日本とフィリピンの経済的つながりはますます緊密になっています。しかし、フィリピンの経済は低迷を続け、人々の生活に改善のきざしは見えません。フィリピンへの援助や投資は何のために使われているのでしょうか。
セブ島における開発や環境の問題に関わっているNGO・SPANの代表ジェラルディーン・ラブラドーレスさんをお招きして、今セブで起こっているODA や政治的殺害の問題について話を聞きます。そして、ドライマンゴーのフェアトレードに関わっているNGOの活動についての話を聞き、人々の自立への取り組みについて考えます。
